Bye Bye Birdie is a fun, high-energy musical that captures the spirit of 1950s America, where rock-and-roll is king and teenage fandom reigns supreme. The story follows teen idol Conrad Birdie, who is drafted into the army, sending his fans—and his manager—into a frenzy. As a farewell publicity stunt, he’s set to give “one last kiss” to a lucky fan on national TV, turning the quiet town of Sweet Apple, Ohio upside down. Filled with catchy songs like “Put On a Happy Face” and “A Lot of Livin’ to Do,” the show is a lively, heartwarming celebration of youth, love, and the chaos of sudden fame.
